I’m having major computer problems.  A lot of my time today and this weekend has been/will be tied to working on my laptop.  The hard drive went out on it, so I’m working on getting our personal data (music, pictures, documents, etc.) off the drive using a bootable Linux CD.  I was transferring stuff off of the crashed drive to my external hard drive when that drive started making a loud clicking sound whenever it was powered on.  *bangs head* I don’t have a clue how to even try to recover data off of that drive.  That drive, by the way, holds most of digital music collection, including I don’t know how many digitized tapes and LPs.  *bangs head*
