NFL SpyGate just got more interesting

According to this article on ESPN.com, the NY Jets video taped the Patriots last year during a game.  That puts a new spin on SpyGate.  The Jets say it was above board, they followed all NFL regulations, and had permission from the Patriots, which was rescinded during the first quarter of the game.  This event may explain why the Jets “blew the whistle” on the Patriots this year, but not last year.

I’ve fussed about the Patriots’ misdeeds, so at the very least, I have to acknowledge this news story.  Before I get irate at the Jets, I’ll wait to see why they were filming and if they really did have permission.

Now I have to wonder if the Patriots will score 150 on the Jets Sunday.  And listen to whiny, arrogant Patriot fans.
